This sign was created to honor the memory of Santos Rodriguez, a 12-year-old child killed by Dallas police in 1973, in Pike Park near where Santos lived. Pictured below, the founders of Mother's Against Police Brutality. This signage is intended to give place and remembrance to young a boy who was murdered by Dallas Police forty years ago. Reclaimed space. A place to remember. A place to unite and advocate for accountability.
