Client: Community Fam at SIT

The vision of the Community Farm at SIT is the creation of a sustainable and just food system, both locally and globally, through community-based ecologically and socially sustainable agriculture and education. The Farm engages and connects community partners, local citizens, World Learning staff, faculty and students in an experiential, practical, real-world learning environment.
I based the design upon photographs that I had taken of the farm and farmers while in Vermont. I scanned the photos in and rendered them in Illustrator. The gazebo was actually built by Farmer Steve and is a big part of the visual landscape.
In addition to the logo, I designed and created a CMS that allows the farmers to edit pages easily and continue to build the VT/NH community.
