Who is this Faz person?

Hi,my name is Angela Faz, and I am a web graphic designer and mixed media artist.  I have been programming websites and designing user-friendly graphics for 6 years.  I have a Bachelor of Arts in Visual Communication from Collins College in Tempe, Arizona (2004) and  have worked with Fortune 500 companies as well as grassroots community groups and scrappy nonprofits.  As a lifelong artist, my background in fine art provides me with a firm foundation to draw from in my design work.  I survived the Flash and Web 2.0 buzzword eras relatively unscathed and am committed to creating design that is both classic and current.  My design philosophy is driven by my belief in old fashioned communication and knack for solving problems using a mix of technology and art.

As a mixed media artist, I have shown my work in 11 art exhibitions to date and am lucky to have a solid group of fellow art conspirators who regularly wrangle me into amazing and worthwhile community art projects.  My preferred mediums are printmaking and painting, but I also enjoy documenting daily shenanigans with my Canon Rebel XLT.  And of course I can never turn down an opportunity to gussy up a wall with good friends (see photo).

When I am not being an art/design nerd, I enjoy gardening and trying new recipes like chili beer bread.  I hope you enjoy looking at my work.  Please feel free to contact me for employment, whether full-time or freelance.
